As part of operational maintenance, URD company is conducting repair and restoration works on the overpass over the railway on the section of the M-30 Striy-Izvaryne highway: the western approach to the city of Khmelnytskyi, near the village of Sharovechka.
The importance of this road section and its prompt commissioning lies in the fact that the artificial structure is located on the M-30 Striy-Uman-Dnipro-Izvaryne section, which is part of the international transport corridor E-50, through which the delivery of humanitarian cargo and cargo for ensuring the country’s defense capability takes place.
The following stages of work have already been completed:
– We have prepared the foundations for the transition plates and created a reinforcing framework for the left lane of the bridge.
– We have carried out monolithic works on these elements of the structure.
– We have applied waterproofing and drainage materials to the left span structure, which serve as protection for the construction from water.
According to the plan, the final stages of work are ahead – repairing the sidewalk portion and the metal fencing, and laying the final layer of asphalt concrete pavement.
Although capital repairs have been suspended during the war, we continue to create safety on the roads of Ukraine. We pay special attention to objects that are critical for the safe logistics of humanitarian and military transportation, as well as the evacuation of civilians.
