“URD” manufactures and sells mineral powder in accordance with the requirements of DSTU.B.V.2.7.-121-2003, which has the main purpose of converting volumetric bitumen into a fuel state. Thus, together with bitumen, mineral powder increases the viscosity, strength, and heat resistance of asphalt concrete, as the main properties compared to free bitumen. Another purpose of mineral powder is to fill small pores, which overall contributes to the density of the mineral composition and asphalt concrete.
Mineral powder from “URD” is produced at the company’s plants: particles of limestone or dolomite rocks are ground into powder. Loading and delivery are carried out directly from the plant, where mineral powder is pumped into special tanks of a cement truck. We care about the environment and deliver goods in modern cement trucks equipped with compressors, which allows for the safe loading and unloading of mineral powder without it entering the air.
