URD systematically continues to implement a long-term development strategy, one of the most important elements of which is the modernization of production facilities, qualified personnel and the introduction of advanced technologies in Ukraine.

1969 - 1980

The repair and construction department №52 was established in the city of Khmelnytsky. The department performed current road repairs in the Khmelnytsky region.

1981 - 1990

The company continues to carry out current road repairs in the Khmelnytsky region.

1991 - 2000

DRSU №51 was renamed to Khmelnytsky Road Construction Department №56, and in 1994 OJSC Khmelnytsky Road Construction Department №56 was established through corporatization.

2001 - 2010

OJSC Khmelnytsky Road Construction Department №56 continued to carry out current road repairs in the Khmelnytsky region.

2011 - 2020

A new stage of the company's development. URD (at that time "ShBU-56") expanded its presence from one to eight regions of Ukraine (Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions).

Сьогодення

In January 2021, ShBU-56 became URD, the national company Ukrainian Roads. The company has significantly expanded its capacity and concentrates its activities on the construction and reconstruction of state and local roads.
