The URD division specializing in bridge construction and artificial structures is working in the city of Horodok, Khmelnytsky region. Our bridge crew is carrying out major repairs to restore and maintain a favorable hydrological regime and sanitary condition of the Trostyanets riverbed on Gonchara Street.
Favorable weather conditions allow work to be carried out quickly and consistently. After the dismantling of the old bridge, which was deforming under heavy load and is not subject to restoration, work began on the creation of a new bridge structure.
The specialists of URD have already completed:
- – Constructed the reinforced concrete foundation for the entrance part of the upper lock.
- – Laid a monolithic riverbed base.
- – Reinforced the existing water-passing arches with monolithic reinforced concrete.
- – Strengthened the existing retaining walls with monolithic reinforced concrete.
- – Installed entrance gates and the right exit gate made of monolithic reinforced concrete.
- – Arranged frames for sluice gates.
The URD road team makes use of every clear day to get the bridge operational as quickly as possible so that residents can travel their usual routes.
We continue to work on:
- – The production and installation of sluice gate shields.
- – Earthworks to restore the mound cones.
- – Installing the left exit gate made of monolithic reinforced concrete.
- – Priming and painting metal structures.
According to the project, the major repair work for the restoration and maintenance of a favorable hydrological regime and sanitary condition of the Trostyanets riverbed in the city of Horodok will be completed in the first decade of September 2023.
